We've had a great snowfall in the past few days, something like 10 inches now, so we decided to head for our favorite hiking spot and try our luck. It was not too cold or windy, but overcast.
I'm schlepping along on my roommate's pet sitting runs, in case she gets stuck in the snow. It beats another day lying around watching bad tv. I was starting to get bed sores.

Due to the "wintry mix" that we got today, my neighborhood is a solid sheet of ice. I got stuck in the intersection on the walk back from the bus stop and a neighbor helped me cross the street because I was sliding all over the place. I don't know how I'm supposed to get to work tomorrow - more freezing rain is on the way! Yay!!!
Also, I made brownies tonight and they're taking forever to cool. Irony is cruel.
